PREPARATION

1. Heat 250 ml of water (for each cup you wish to brew) to 93°C (if you don’t have a thermometer, bring the water to the boil and wait 30–40 seconds without covering it)

2. Place the filter in the V60 and wet it with the hot water so that it adheres to the filter holder and reaches the correct temperature. Discard the water

3. Add 15 g of ground coffee to the filter, place the device on the scales and set them to 0 (Tare)

4. Start the stopwatch and pour 50 ml of water in a circular motion, ensuring all the ground coffee is moistened. Wait 30 seconds for the blooming to complete

5. Pour 25 ml of water in a circular motion without wetting the paper; repeat this every 15 seconds until you have poured 250 ml of water onto the scale.

6. Allow the coffee to brew for 2 minutes and 30 seconds from the start of preparation. Do not exceed 3 minutes.

7. Enjoy a fresh, freshly brewed speciality coffee.
